The challenge
Planning treatment away from home is often as difficult as the treatment itself.
Patients search hospital websites for lodging, call social workers about transportation, compare financial assistance programs, and look through patient forums hoping someone has already solved the same problem. Much of this information already exists, but it is scattered across hundreds of organizations with different eligibility requirements and application processes.
The result is unnecessary stress at a time when patients should be focused on their health.
Our goal is to make those resources easier to find, understand, and use.

Design concept. Screen elements, program names, and figures are illustrative and do not reflect a live product or confirmed savings.
Why we built it
We repeatedly met patients who spent weeks planning logistics before they could begin treatment.
The resources they needed already existed, but they were spread across hospitals, nonprofit organizations, charitable foundations, and government programs. Patients often discovered important assistance only after paying out of pocket or arriving at their destination.
The Care Resource Planner is designed to bring those resources together into one organized, patient-centered experience.
Who it is for
The planner is intended for patients and families who must travel away from home for specialized medical care.
This includes people traveling to academic medical centers, comprehensive cancer centers, transplant programs, rare disease clinics, pediatric specialty hospitals, and other centers where treatment requires extended travel or temporary relocation.
Important note
The Care Resource Planner provides educational information about publicly available support programs.
Eligibility, funding availability, and application requirements are determined by the organizations that administer each program. We encourage patients to confirm current information directly with each provider before making travel or financial decisions.
The platform is currently under development and is not yet publicly available.
